30.My Nalli-Thisai Ettum Awards.

Story 1

                                                 I translated a book called 'Kaal Mulaitha Kathaikal' into English as 'Nothing but water' and Kurinjivel appuppa from Thisai Ettum and Nalli appuppa from Nalli Stores called me for an award.  The award is for the best translators.  I was one of it.  The awards were Bhasha Bhushan and Bhasha Vibhushan.  The people who won the award is Dr.K.Chellappan appuppa for translating Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Kalaignar and Karunanithi's letters in English.  So he got the award Bhasha Vibhushan.  Next is Dr.M.A.Susila ammumma for translating the book 'Asadan' in English to Tamil.  She got the award Bhasha Bhushan.

 Next is Vaidehi Herbert aunty for translating the book 'Pathitruppathu' in Tamil to English.  She got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is P.Purushothaman uncle for translating the book 'Oru Vazhippari Kollaiyanin Opputhal Vaakkumoolam' in English to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is.M.Govindarajan appuppa for translating the book 'Anjanai' in Hindi to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is N.Subbramanyan appuppa for translating the book 'Manothidam' in Gujarati to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is N.Manokaran uncle for translating the book 'Indhiya ilakkiya kotpaadukal' in Malayalam to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is me for translating the book 'Nothing but water' in Tamil to English.       

29.The poem of my adventure in Vandalur zoo.

                                              In third standard, I wrote a poem about a zoo called Vandalur zoo.  Please read the poem below.

                                                        "I went to Vandalur zoo,
                                                         To see the birds and animals too.
                                                          There were many kinds of birds,
                                                           And I spotted deer all in herds.
                                                          The monkeys did us many tricks,
                                                          Jumping on walls made of bricks.
                                                          Then I saw some striped zebras,     
                                                           And also pythons and cobras"       

28.My recitation competition poem.

                                                  My class teacher announced that on Monday, 12-8-13, a recitation competition will be held.  In that, I'm going to take part and say about plum tree.  Please read the poem below.

                                                      "I'm a plum tree! I'm a plum tree!
                                                       I'm allowed in many gardens!
                                                       If you want to eat my plums,
                                                       Please do eat my plums.
                                                       It is ripe,                                          
                                                       And red in color too.      
                                                       I'm a plum tree,
                                                       I grow day-by-day."
  

26.My Funtimes poem.

                                         I was going to send The Fun times paper.  They gave it in our school.  In that, there was a question asked to write a poem about my school with rhyming words.  I wrote,

                        
                   "My school is very nice,
                   Teachers teach subjects especially science.
                   Who is maths,
                   In this class?
                  This is our class room
                  We do boom.
                   I love my school,
                  We make ourselves fool."

                                                 There is an article that came today about me on students edition Times of India. 

24.My cycling

                                                         My cycle's name is 'Monkey'.  It is orange in color.  My father took the side wheels from the cycle in my home itself.  My father made the two wheels a little upper.  It was night 8:00.p.m.  I rode at the night because no vehicles came in that time.  First time, my father hold the cycle.  It was a dead end.  So, we went till it Then, the second time, my father said me to keep one leg in the pedal and the other leg in the floor.  So, I practiced it from that day.  Sometimes, when I am practicing, I fall down without knowing myself too.  The first time, the cycle fell and I fell on it.  The second time, I fell and the cycle fell on me.  So, my middle finger got hurt.  But one thing, my father didn't help me at all.  He was just standing there and smiling.  One day, I was riding my bicycle with my friend Shivani.  After some time, she went to drink waster in her house.  So, that time, I didn't waste my precious time and I rode my bicycle 2 or 3 rounds.  Suddenly, I started to cycle by two pedals itself.  I rode comfortably.    

 

23.Tinkle book.

                                  Mysskin the director bought me a book called "Tinkle book".  I came at the night from Landmark bookshop and started reading the book.  I read five stories at night when I am going to sleep.  The book is full of comics.  Some stories are very comedy.  The stories are like Kalia the crow, Nasruddin Hodja, The adventures of Suppandi, The adventures of Sher-Dil, Tenali Raman, Ramu and Shyamu and Little Raji.  Every stories repeat twice or thrice.  There are many stories etc to see.  Some are comics, some are cartoons, some are about animals and some are about the origination of things.  These stories repeat only once.  The pages in the book is 196 totally.  The book's title is Tinkle, but it has a separate title. That title is Tinkle-double digest no.3.  I was reading and reading and at last, I finished it on one day. That was like an adventure of reading.  I loved the book very much.
