78.Kathai kambalam - Part I

                                                                                             Why am I dreaming?
There was a baby fish called Kubuk in the east side of the sea.  The principal of the sea school did not allow Kubuk to study as he was very tiny.  So, Kubuk go to the nearby crab’s house, borrow a story book, come home and read it on its own.  Kubuk’s elder sister and mother go to a place called Sippi Thattu to help people peel the skin of peanuts.  When they are returning home, they bring something to eat.  So, the full day, Kubuk remain all alone.
There are three schools under the sea.  One school’s name is food school.  There the people teach what to eat, what to not eat and about health.
Baby fishes, turtles, seahorses, octopuses, why, one or two baby whales also come here to study.  An old tortoise is the teacher of this school.  He can see only half of the earth.  If he is sleepy, he’ll forget the class and sleep.  The class studies on the day he wakes up.  Till that, the students play freely.
The another school’s name is fighting school.  There they teach how to catch an animal, or if an animal is coming to catch us, how to escape, who is the enemy, what he is planning to do with us, etc.  There, baby fishes are not allowed to study here.  It is very difficult to get seat hear.
The sea living things certainly send their children to study hear.  Here, half of the time, the teacher teaches.  Half of the time only practice.  Every baby fishes love to join here.  A sea cow was the teacher of this school.  That was a very kind animal.  It is a vegetarian animal inside the sea that eats only plants.  It is called Aavuliyaa ( In Tamil ).  It looks like a tall, fat elephant.  It does not get angry or scold someone.  It’ll remain quiet all the time.
The third school is about humans.  The teach lessons like why the humans come to seas, how to escape from fishermen, if caught in a fisher man’s net, how to act or how to attack humans and escape.  This school is the most difficult of the three under the sea.  How much ever the students study, the fail in the examination.  Only little children are studying in this school.
This school’s teacher is a shark.  That is a torenose shark because, it fought like this and the enemy tore its nose.  So, the shark always scold humans angrily.  The animals who studied in this school present their thoughts of humans.
Instead of these three schools, there is a big playground under the sea.  There baby fishes, crabs and oysters play their favorite game “Catch and catch”, running and jumping, day and night.  The baby fishes like the game that who is not shaking for longer time.  There are many races in that game.  The baby fishes play this game the whole day.

76.The goose.

William sat on his house's stair case.  There was a goose passing by.  William thought that the goose would make a tasty meal.  So, he took a sharp knife with him to kill the goose.  The goose was not that easy to catch.  The goose ran away when William tried to catch it.  William managed to corner the goose among some bushes but it decided to fight back.  There was a big fight inside the bushes.  At last, the goose won the fight.  It bit William in many places and a part of William's shorts.  So, an ashamed William had a fish as a combination for the afternoon meal.  The goose was nothing but trouble.  It is better to leave it alone.

75.The bag.

A lady was walking with bundles in her hand- one cover full of vegetables and fruits, another cover full of stationary items, one box full of chocolates and her hand bag.  She has just done her shopping.  On the way, her hand bag fell on the pavement.  The lady did not notice it and was walking straight away to her car.  Her car was far away.  Raja noticed the bag lying down on the pavement.  He called out to the lady.  The lady did not hear him.  So, Raja ran to the lady to give her the hand bag.  The lady was surprised to see Raja with the hand bag.  Raja gave away the hand bag to the lady.  The lady smiled and thanked Raja.  Raja smiled back, waved goodbye and continued on his way.

74.ஈ.
