166. Attack Of The Bandit Cats.

Usually, I don't like ships, pirates, bandits and voyages.   And this was based on Bandit Cats.  In fact, it was a little boring but I Liked the beginning of this book.

The book was like this : Geronimo published a phone book called 'The Yellow Pages'.  In that, all the numbers were wrong.  Even Geronimo's own telephone number was wrong.  So, irritated, all the mice wanted to beat Geronimo hard.  So, Geronimo, his sister Thea, his cousin Trap and his favorite nephew, Benjamin decided to go on a voyage.  Till this, only I liked.  Then, it was too boring for me.  Then, the four were caught by pirate cats in their silver pirate ship.  So, the prince of the pirate cats, The Black Bandit, put the four of them in a jail, and told the cook, Slobbertooth, to cook the four of them.  Luckily, Geronimo burnt the silver ship and sent the cats to the nearest island and the Stilton family searched for hidden treasure.  Finally, they got it and they parted it among themselves.  Then, at last, they came home.  The book was also interesting in some places.

165. The adventures of Tom Sawyer.

Yesterday, I finished reading a book called 'The adventures of Tom Sawyer'.  It was a very nice and interesting book and I loved it very much.  The story was about a boy called Tom Sawyer who was a very naughty boy and always would go with his dear friend, Huckleberry Finn to play outdoors without his Aunt Polly's permission.  He was living with his Aunt Polly, cousin Mary and half - brother Sid.  Sid would always complain Tom for everything.  Even Aunt Polly was strict at first.  If Tom did a good deed, she gave him a full, ripe apple.  But, she always made Tom work.  But, Tom did not do all the work.  But, instead, he asked his friends to do the work by saying something good about that thing.  One day, Tom meets a girl named Rebecca Thatcher (a) Becky.  She was the famous judge, Judge Thatcher's daughter.  Tom and Becky were studying in the same class and in the same school.  They also sat beside each other.  One day, during the recess, they were talking about their friends.  But, suddenly, Tom mentioned about his friend Amy Lawrence without knowing.  Hearing this, Becky became angry and she left angrily.  Even Tom became angry and went somewhere away and did not return for many days.  After some days, he, Huck and another friend named Joe Harper left for an island and started playing pirate games.  At one night, Tom and Huck went to the forest and found that three men, a doctor a man named Injun Joe and Muff Potter.  Do you know what Injun Joe did?  He killed the doctor and gave drugs to Muff Potter and also gave the knife to him.  So, seeing this, Huck and Tom took an oath in blood that this incident must be a secret.  But, when the judge forced to say what happened, Tom told about the whole thing.  Injun Joe was surprised at this. In Tom and Huck’s homes, everyone was worried about them.  So, after some days, they all returned back to their respective homes.  So, for their return, Becky kept a treat for their friends.  They all went into a cave in a ferry boat.  But, after everyone returned, Tom and Becky were lost in the cave, but they did not know.  At last, they knew and they found a way back, killing Injun Joe who hid his treasure in the cave.  At last, Huck and Tom took the treasure out and they became rich but Huck wore his tore shirt and pants only and lived in his old house.  But they lived happily ever after.

164. Red pizzas for a blue count.

Today, I finished reading the next book, 'Red pizzas for a blue count'.  It was vampire based story.  It was also interesting.  

In that, Geronimo's cousin Trap was caught in Transratania, a place of vampire bats.  Trap calls Geronimo and blabbers something.  So, Geronimo thought that Trap was caught between the vampire bats.  (Actually, Trap joined the vampire castle as a cook).  So, Geronimo took the first train to Transratania with his sister and his favorite nephew, Benjamin.  They go to the Von Ratoff castle and start searching for their their cousin secretly.  The castle was owned by Count Von Ratoff and his niece Snobella.  Their butler -  like person was a hunchback. He talked in a blended language.  Trap loved Snobella.  One day, there was an engagement party in the castle.  It was the engagement party of the countess Snobella and her fiance, Count Schnoz Von Der Nose.  So, an accident occurred and Snobella slipped on the steps and fell down.  Trap caught her luckily.  Seeing this, Nose sat at a corner and started crying.  Seeing this, Snobella opened her wings.  Then only, Trap, Geronimo, Thea and Benjamin knew that the Von Ratoff was a vampire family.  So, after all the adventures, Thea, Trap, Benjamin and Geronimo returned back to New Mouse City.  It was a very nice story and I enjoyed it really.  Tomorrow, I will finish off the next book, 'Attack of the Bandit Cats'.

163. The Thea Sisters and the dancing shadows.

Today, I read 'Thea sisters and the dancing shadows'.  It is one of the books of Geronimo Stilton series but it is written by his sister, Thea Stilton.  

In the book, the Thea sisters learn ballet.  They perform the dance in the school, Mouseford Academy and are praised by their professor.  The professor says that The Thea sister can go to Milan in Italy to participate in a competition.  But she says that the mice are going to compete with other dance mice from the 'Mice for Dance' agency.  From that agency, three crooked judges who always pass the dancers from their agency and disqualify mice from other dance schools.  The Thea Sisters' names are Nicky (Nic), Colette (It's Colette), Violet (Vi), Pamela (Pam), Paulina (Polly).  So, in the competition, they meet a young dancer named Carlotta who is self - taught.

Carlotta and Colette are like twins. They look alike.  So, to rehearse, The Thea sisters, a dance teacher named Natalya Rattlova, her nephews, Vasily and Pyotr go to a nearby park as the crooked judges would not let them to practice in the rooms.  When they are practicing, a crooked mouse follows them.  So, they planned up how to catch those crooked mice and Colette tries to dance with their opponent, Gaspard.  Colette danced with him and he purposely hit Colette and she sprained her ankle.  So, the next day, Violet, Carlotta, Vasily and Pyotr go to practice.  Colette goes to her room to rest her ankle.  Nic, Pam and Polly follow Gaspard to a fort like place secretly.  Then Gaspard goes inside and talked with that mouse who followed The Thea sisters.  

The crook was none other than one of the crooked judges, Monsieur Le Bars.  The mice who were following could hear what the two were speaking even thought they were 30 feet away from the sisters because the area was sound transmit.  The two mice were planing how to get rid of Carlotta.  So, at last, the plan that they planned worked and the three crooked judges were forced to leave the ballet competition and the dancers from from 'Mice for Dance' were disqualified from the competition.  At last, it was time for the Thea sisters to leave Milan and go back to Mouseford Academy.  So, they bid their goodbyes and left for the airport.  I enjoyed it very well and I hope many other stories are interesting like this.

About the Thea Stilton series : It is a very interesting series.  It is about many kinds of mysteries.  For each mystery, they give a clue after 2 or 3 chapters and after 5 or 6 chapters to find out what the mystery is.  I love these kinds of adventures and I hope there are many kinds of books like this.

162. Paws Off, Cheddarface!

I said that I'd finish the next book, 'Paws Off, Cheddarface' yesterday itself. Well, I finished it yesterday itself, but my father was working on the computer so I could not write it.

Yesterday, I read the book, 'Paws Off, Cheddarface'.  It was an interesting story.  In that, to buy Geronimo Stilton's popular newspaper, 'The Rodents' Gazette', Sally Ratmousen, Geronimo's newspaper competitor hired a mouse just like Geronimo.  The lookalike walked like Geronimo, talked like him and did everything just like him.  One day, even Geronimo's sister Thea Stilton mistook Geronimo for his lookalike and didn't even open the door.  The lookalike's name was Sydney Starfur.  So, to buy back 'The Rodents' Gazette', Geronimo made up his cousin trap just like Sally and they planned about how to buy back the paper.  So, at the end their planed worked and Geronimo Stilton and Sydney Starfur met each other and became good friends.

161. Four mice deep in the jungle.

 Today, I read Geronimo Stilton's 'Four mice deep in the jungle.'  Geronimo Stilton is a mouse and is a 'fraidy mouse.  So, to cure this scary illness, he goes to a psychiatrist.  Geronimo does not understand the doctor's advice and does not know how to cure this illness.  So, the doctor calls Geronimo's relatives and gives his niece's name.  His niece, Penelope Poisonfur (P.P.) knows perfectly how to cure this illness.  So, she asks Geronimo to sign an agreement.  So that, she might give the treatment to cure the illness.  So, they decided to go on for the treatment for 7 days with four other mice.  The first two days were the difficult time for Geronimo and the next few days were the jolly time for him.  I enjoyed it very well.  I am going to read the next book of the series 'Paws off, Cheddarface!' now itself!
