54.Books.

This is a poem on books.  Please read it.

                              "Books, books, books,
which we can read sitting in nooks.
                                Some are wonderful,
                                and some are cheerful.
                                They tell us interesting stories,
                                 and doesn't give us worries.
                                  Please read them,
                                  who are like gem."

53. The fighting women.

Once, there were 2 women.  One woman's name was Devi and the others was Riya.  Both were rich.  They lived in a beautiful city.  One day, when Riya was taking her money to go to a shop, she found that it was stolen.  She was doubtful that only Devi could have stolen it because, she is one and only neighbour for her.  So, without control, Riya angrily asked to Devi,"How dare you steel my money?  Give it now itself or I'll complain you to the Mayor of the city."  Devi did not give anything.  So, Riya took her to the Mayor of the city and said,"Dear Lord, Devi has stolen my money and is not returning it back to me."  That time, Devi said,"My Lord, she is saying lie.  I did not go into her house for 2 days.  Then, how can I steal her money?"  The Mayor said,"I have a solution for your problem.  Now Riya, how much money did you have totally?"  Riya said,"$25,000, my Lord"  "How much did you have, Devi?"  The Mayor asked to Devi.  Devi said,"$30,000, my Lord."  That time Riya screamed,"See, My Lord.  She stole my $5000 and saying lie."  The Mayor said,"Bring both of your money.  Let me see."  So, the two brought their money and handed it over to the Mayor.  The Mayor saw and said,"Riya, your money was not stolen by Devi, but stolen by some one.  See, from yours, only $2000 is stolen and Devi has the correct amount she said.  No fighting for this hereafter."  So, Riya realized her folly and apologized Devi and they never fought of this anymore.

52.History of radio.

Many people were involved in the invention of radio as we now know it.  Several possible methods of wireless communication were considered, including inductive and capacitive induction and transmission through the ground, however the method used for radio today exclusively involves the transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves.

After early speculation on the subject, experimental work on the connection between electricity and magnetism began around 1820 with the work of Hans Christian Orsted and continued with the work Andre-Marie Ampere,  Joseph Henry, and Michael Faraday.  These investigations culminated in the complete theory of electromagnetism developed by James Clerk Maxwell.  The theory described the theoretical basis of the propagation of electromagnetic waves.

After Maxwell's theory was published many people experimented with wireless, some intentionally using Maxwell's theory some not.  It is considered likely that the first intentional transmission of a signal by means of electromagnetic waves was performed by David Edward Hughes around 1880.  Guglielmo Marconi etc. invented radio.

50.My sister.

I wrote a poem on "My sister".  Please read it.

                             "I have a sister,
                              she's a persister.
                              She plays every time,
each time she acts like a mime.
                              She always tolerates me,
she doesn't say she, instead, she says he.
                              I love my sister,
you are also lucky to have a persister."

51.Akshaya, the correspondent.

There was a girl named Akshaya who was studying in 4th standard, Vidyodaya matric. Hr. Sec. Academy.  She always wanted to become the correspondent of the school.  The academic year finished and she passed to 5th standard.  Like that, the academic years passed in a jiffy and she became Maths teacher in the school.  She won't study.  She should study for the exam to become the correspondent.  But she did not study.  At last when the exam date came, she was not even scared for the exam because she knew how to copy simply.  So she entered the exam hall, and started writing the exam.  She copied the girl sitting next to her simply.  At last, when the bell rang, she gave the exam paper and exited the exam hall.  Every one whispered to her that they did not write any single essay.  She was proud that she wrote at least 5 or 6 essays by copying.  After a few days, the result came and they announced that Akshaya got the top score and she became the correspondent of the school.  She became the correspondent of the school by copying.  How lucky she is!

49.History of film.

The history of film began in the late 1880s with the invention of the first movie camera.  Motion pictures were initially exhibited as a carnival novelty and developed to one of the most important tools of communication and entertainment, and mass media in the 20th century and into the 21st century.  Most films before 1930 were silent.  Motion picture films have substantially affected the arts, technology, and politics.

The movie theatre was considered a cheaper, simpler way to provide entertainment to the masses.  Movies became the most popular visual art from of the late Victorian age.  It was simpler because before the cinema people would have to travel long distance to see major dioramas or amusement parks.  With the advent of the cinema this changed.  During the first decade of the cinema's existence, inventors worked to improve the machines for making and showing films.  Eadweard James Muybridge invented cinema.

48.A new table.

Section 1

There was a girl named Thea.  She was studying in 5th standard.  She had an old and broken table.  She asked to her father," Father, I have an old and broken table.  Why don't you buy a new table for me?"  Her father didn't seem to mind.  Thea asked again and again.  But her father didn't say any thing at all.  At last, Thea said,"I won't talk to you until you buy me a new table.", and went away.

Section 2

The next day, also she did not get the new table.  Many months passed.  It has become a year itself.

Section 3

On the month October, she got a new table.  It was not presented by her father, but it was presented by her uncle.  Her uncle said,"Your father only recommended me to buy a new table for you."  Thea went and hugged her father and used the table many years.
