271. The Hunt for the Golden book - part 1.

It has become 10 years since Geronimo has started writing his books.  It was his writings’ 10^th anniversary.  He has written over 75 books during the decade.  So, his grandfather says him to write a book as his 10^th anniversary – special.  Geronimo names that book ‘the Golden Book’ and starts writing the book.  In that book, he writes about two different stories.  Geronimo’s relatives call and tell him to organize a party, but Geronimo is not interested in all that.  His no. 1 enemy, Sally Ratmousen, tells him that he is showing off.  Then, when the arrangements of the party are made, Sally comes and puts chilli powder in the cake and makes the roses stink.  She does all this to ruin the party.  Her last trick was to steal Geronimo’s laptop, in which he had the only copy of ‘the Golden Book’.  One day, Geronimo was writing so much that he became tired and fell asleep, hitting the top of the laptop so hard that there occurred a dent on the laptop’s surface and a bump on his head.  Sally steals the laptop at that time.  She calls that computer repair centre and tells them to take Geronimo’s computer.  When Geronimo wakes up, he found that there was a bump on his head and that his laptop was missing.  Somehow, he, Thea, Trap and Benjamin find out the plane which was taking his computer and get into it.  When Geronimo saw, there were more than 500 more computers like his!  How could he find his computer?  Suddenly, Benjamin says Geronimo to recall that he made a dent or something in the computer.  Geronimo remembered the dent on the laptop and found out his computer.  Then, they rush out and give the laptop to the press to publish the book and they, with all their friends, rebuild the party which Sally damaged.  Then, on the day of the party, the book was released, but the title was ‘the Hunt for the Golden Book’ because of the entire search for Geronimo’s laptop.  When she heard that Geronimo was having his party, was Sally Ratmousen mad!  I liked this book very much and wait for the second part of the book – the Lake Monster.
