There was a girl named Delphie. She wanted to learn ballet. There was a ballet class near her home. When she asked her parents about the idea of
letting her join in that class, her parents said that they could not
afford. So, she began borrowing books
from the library about ballet stories. She
read a story about a toy soldier called Nutcracker. It was a present to a little girl called
Clara from her uncle. On all the nights,
after everyone slept, she would dance with the doll and then only sleep. Now, daily, Delphie goes to the ballet class
and peeps from the window. After some
time, she would dance looking at them. One
day, the teacher of the class Madame Zarakova, nicknamed Madame Za – Za called Delphie
inside. When she asked why Delphie was
peeping in through the window, she came to know about the interest if Delphie in
ballet. So she gave her an old ballet
shoes and brand – new clothes and offered to teach her without money. At night, the shoes began to sparkle. They were magical shoes. They would take anyone to a magical world called
Enchantia when there was a problem there.
They took her also there. There,
the evil King Rat kidnapped the Nutcracker.
So, Delphie and her friend Sugarplum fairy together solved it by fooling
the King’s guards and the King himself. Delphie
danced gracefully and made the Nutcracker come to life. If he was alive only, the fairies of that world
could dance. After solving that problem
Sugarplum, Delphie and the Nutcracker happily danced. After sometime, Delphie sadly waved good –bye
to all of them in Enchantia and came back to her bedroom. It was a very nice story.
