278. Rising Star

A girl named Chloe has a strong ambition for being a pop singer.  So, she was selected to go to a music school, where she will learn about singing and all the other subjects hereafter.  It was a boarding school.  There, in her room, there were three more girls, Poppy, Lolly and Tara.  When Chloe goes to her first music lesson, her teacher says that she does not sing loudly.  Another boy who came from her school was Danny.  He was a drummer.  So, there was a concert.  In that Chloe was not joined because she does not sing loudly.  Just then, the recording engineer called her for recording.  She records Danny’s drum and has her own recording.  Then, suddenly, her friends scare her that her baby brother, Ben was drowned in a lake.  So, screaming, Chloe goes to save him but after she had dived in the lake, she came to know that they did that to bring her voice back.  When she sang after that, she found that she could sing very loudly.  This was a nice book.

277. Boyhood.

This story was about a boy named Mason who, in the starting of the movie was 6 years and in the ending, 19 years old.  He has an older sister, Samantha.  Their mother broke up with their father, but too, their father come and takes them out to the restaurant, for bowling etc. on weekends.  Their mother again marries.  her husband already has two children, Mindy, who was Samantha's age and Randy, who was Mason's age.  But, again, she breaks up with the man and lives alone.  In this movie, it was the same boy from 6 years to 19 years.  They took this movie for 12 years, waiting for the boy to grow up.  The change a couple of houses and they get new friends everywhere.  One day, it was Mason’s 15^th birthday and they celebrate it grandly.  In this movie, they showed only his 15^th birthday.  We can understand that he has grown up by his looks.  then, he gets a friend, Sheena, who was with him till he was graduated from high school.  he goes for part time jobs like in restaurants, shops, etc.  Then, he was graduated from high school and goes to college.  The movie ended after that.  This was a good movie and I liked it.

276. How to train your Dragon.

This movie was about a Viking boy named Hiccup who befriends a Night fury dragon and kills another big dragon with the help of his dragon.  Hiccup lived in the city of Berk.  There, the people are threatened by dragons.  So, his father, the King of the Vikings, Stoick, says Hiccup to go and train for killing dragons.  During training, he meets five other kids, Astrid, Snoutlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut.  At first, all of them hate Hiccup. The, he befriends a dragon and names it Toothless.  Toothless does not have one part of the tail.  Hiccup mends it a tail and they fly towards the sky.  So, with the friendship with the dragon, Hiccup hypnotises all the dragons when training.  So, all the kids except Astrid come to like Hiccup.  One day, Astrid saw Hiccup going to the dragon and follows him.  Then, the go for a ride in the dragon together and become friends.  Then, his father tells him to fight a dragon but he could not.  He says that dragons are trying to defend themselves and they are not trying to kill human beings.  Then, his father and his crew catch Toothless and make him lead towards the place where all the dragons live.  When they are going to enter the place, the biggest dragon comes out and kills most of them.  Just then, Astrid, Hiccup, Snoutlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut come flying in dragons.  All of them except Hiccup fail to kill the dragon.  Hiccup rides on Toothless and kills the dragon but loses one leg.  Then, his father who was mean to the dragon, allows him to live in their house.  It was a nice movie.

275. Shrek.

There was an ogre.  His name was Shrek.  He was reading a book about a princess named Fiona, who was captured by a dragon and kept in the highest room of the tallest tower and can be saved only by a true warrior.  Then, he closes the book and goes out to brush his teeth and bath.  Then he goes out from his swamp.  There were fairy tale creatures troubling people in the village.  So, a group of knights go to the village to take all the creatures to their palace.  Actually, the knights were the soldiers of the king Farquaad, who catches all the fairy tale creatures.  He was villainous and wanted to get married.  So, he gets to know about the Princess Fiona and wants to marry her.  One of the fairy tale creatures was a talking donkey.  By magic, he goes everywhere with Shrek, but he hates the donkey.  One day, when Shrek was eating, he saw that his house was surrounded by fairy tale creatures.  So, without bearing the trouble, the donkey and Shrek walk and walk and go to the palace of king Farquaad and tell him to give Shrek’s house back.  King Farquaad says that only if he kills the dragon and get Princess Fiona to him, he will give Shrek’s swamp back. 

So, they both go to kill the dragon. The get Princess Fiona out safely but does not kill the dragon.  The donkey hypnotises the dragon and they come out safely.  Fiona thinks that Shrek was a beautiful prince but she discovered that he was an ogre.  A problem struck Fiona when she was little.  Each night, she would herself become like an ogre.  The donkey once finds it out.  Fiona tells him to promise her that he does not tell anyone else.  So, it was the day of Fiona’s wedding.  When she was about to wed the king, Shrek and the donkey come on the dragon which was hypnotised by the donkey.  Then, Fiona tells Shrek that in the nights, she turns into an ogre.  When the king orders to catch both the ogres, the dragon comes and eats the king off.  So, Shrek and Fiona married.  In their marriage, all the fairy tale creatures were invited.  They lived happily ever after.
