193. Thea Stilton and the Mountain of Fire.

One day, suddenly, the sheep in Nicky's home's pen get sick.  It was all her neighbor, Mortimer MacCardigan's plan.  To find a medicinal root for the sickness, the Thea Sisters travel miles and miles and at last reach a place where Australian ancestors live.  They showed the way to the medicine and tell the use of it.  When Nicky came back and gave it to the sheep, they immediately got cured.  

                                          
The best character that I liked was : 

Nicky :

         Her sheep get sick.  She with the other Thea Sisters, travel miles and miles to find a medicine.  Her try had a good result.  When she gave the medicine to the sheep, they immediately got well.  I loved the character very much.

192. A Christmas Tale.

It was Christmas Eve and it was freezing cold.  When Geronimo was walking outside, he bumped into his old friend.  Geronimo invited his friend to his big Christmas Eve.  His friend agreed and left.  Then at noon, Geronimo went home. He called all of his friends and relatives but everyone said that they are going somewhere.  When he again goes for a walk, he meets mice like Mrs. Ratillis, a policemouse, a lady and her daughter, a policemouse and a skinny rodent and invites all of them for the Christmas Eve.  When he returns back home, the mice that he had invited and his family and friends who said that they are not coming came to his house for a surprise.  They all celebrated the Christmas Eve happily together.

                                    

The best character that I loved was :

Geronimo Stilton :

                          Geronimo is ready for a Christmas party in his home.  When he was taking a stroll, he invited people for the party whom he had helped as none of his friends or relatives are coming.  When he went home, all of his friends and relatives and people whom he invited had come for a surprise.  I liked the character very much.

191. Down and out down under.

I read this book.  It was very interesting.  In that, Geronimo, Petunia Pretty Paws and her twin brother, Wolfgang Wild Paws go on a trip to an Australian forest.  There, they meet an old man, Wangara, and his wife, Wani.  They teach, Geronimo, Petunia and Wolfgang how to stay alone in forests.  One day, at dawn, they all leave Geronimo alone to test whether he can stay alone in a forest.  Geronimo wasn't aware of that and succeeded in the test.  Then it was time for Geronimo, Petunia and Wolfgang to go to their homes.  At the way, they go to meet Petunia and Wolfgang's grandma in the Paws family farm. Then, they have fun and return to sweet Mouse Island.

                                     

The best character that I loved was :

Wangara :

 

              He is a mouse from the Australian forest.  He teaches Geronimo, Petunia and Wolfgang how to stay alone in forests.  He only instructs everyone to leave Geronimo alone to test.  He has a long, brown beard and a wife named Wani.  I liked the character very much.

190. Geronimo's Valentine.

I read this book.  It w a s very interesting.  In that, on Valentine's day, Geronimo and his friend Petunia Pretty Paws had a meeting in a hotel. Geronimo put on a tuxedo.  Then he becomes ready to get into his grand limousine* to go to the hotel.  But disasters happen because of his Hercule Poirat and at last Geronimo goes to the hotel in his jogging track - suit and instead of a car, he goes in his nephew Benjamin's bicycle.  In the hotel also, he trips, tumbles and falls.  Petunia who was seeing all this, got irritated and left the hotel.  Then, Geronimo's friend, Hercule Poirat comes to him and says that a great painting, Celebration of the Chocolate Cheesecake which is going to be revealed after restoring is stolen.  Then, they both go to a museum where the painting was kept.  They see a lady mouse, Kristina Colorsnout, who said about the situation. Then, they go to a cheesecake hotel which has a mysterious manager.  Then, at last, Hercule and Geronimo find the painting.  Not only the painting, they find the restorer too.  Then, at the big day, there was a chocolate cheesecake competition.  For that, Geronimo was the judge.  He tasted 100 spoons of chocolate cheesecakes and became fed - up.  I t was then that he realized that it was his birthday.  When he went home, his friends and relatives were celebrating the birthday already.  The cake was Chocolate Cheesecake.  When Geronimo tasted a bit, it tasted very nice.  He and Petunia, who also came there cut the rest of the cake together and happily.

                                     

The best character that I loved was:

Hercule Poirat:

                    H e was a  famous detective on Mouse Island.  He and Geronimo together saved the painting and the restorer.  In the middles, he also jokes with Geronimo.  He is a mouse, but he loves bananas more than cheese.  He wears dresses and hats in yellow color.  He always gives surprises for Geronimo.  I loved the character very much.

189. Selected Short Stories : Herman Melville.

Today, I finished reading a book called 'Selected Short Stories : Herman Melville'.  The stories were very interesting and nice.  The stories inside the book were written by a famous author named Herman Melville.  In this book, there were stories like, 'Jimmy Rose', 'The Apple - Tree Table', 'The Lightning - Rod Man', 'The Happy failure', 'Bartleby' and 'I and my chimney'.  The story which I liked was 'The happy failure'.  I hope you also enjoyed the book.

                                         

The story that I liked the best was :

The happy failure :

I liked this story very much.  In this book, a man invents a box - like thing.  But his invention refuses to work.  He tries again and again.  Then also, it refuses to work.  Then, after some time, the man loses patience and hope.  He angrily took the invention in his hand, threw it and broke it.  I liked this nice story very much.

     There were many more books but I could not buy them because, they were very expensive.  I could not buy I single book of my favorite series, Geronimo Stilton because, as they were very expensive, my mother put me in a lending library so that I could take the books from there and after some days, I could give them back.  To change my parents' mind, I would plead to buy me Geronimo Stilton books.  But, they would refuse.  Each time when I see those books, I would want to cry there itself.  But I enjoyed the book fair very much.

188. Shipwreck on the Pirate Islands.

I read this book.  It was good.  In this Geronimo, Thea, Trap and Benjamin go for a vacation to the pirate islands.  There, they meet a rat named Rough Rat Ricky (a) Bouncer.  First, when they go by a plane, the plane crashes and they all fall into a sea.  Then they swim and go to a nearby island.  Then they come to know about a treasure.  Then they set off to hunt for it.  Then they find out that the treasure is a golden pirate ship named Treasure.  Then they sail and go home.  On the way, there was a strong storm.  In that, Benjamin was about to fall out of the ship, but Geronimo saved him.  Then they come to Mouse Island.  Then they donate the golden ship to a museum.  Then at last, in Geronimo's office when Bouncer called him, he said that his mother and 12 cousins can't wait to meet Geronimo.  Geronimo fainted on hearing that because Bouncer himself was naughty.  How will it be if there are 12 mice just like him!!

                                             

                                            

The best character that I loved was :

Rough Rat Ricky (a) Bouncer :

He is the pilot of the plane in which Geronimo, Thea, Trap and Benjamin go to the Pirate Islands.  He is a tricky just like Geronimo's cousin Trap.  He has spring - like hair.  He wears sunglasses.  At last, when Geronimo was at his office, Bouncer calls and says that his mother and 12 cousins are coming to Geronimo's house and made Geronimo faint.
