30.My Nalli-Thisai Ettum Awards.

Story 1

                                                 I translated a book called 'Kaal Mulaitha Kathaikal' into English as 'Nothing but water' and Kurinjivel appuppa from Thisai Ettum and Nalli appuppa from Nalli Stores called me for an award.  The award is for the best translators.  I was one of it.  The awards were Bhasha Bhushan and Bhasha Vibhushan.  The people who won the award is Dr.K.Chellappan appuppa for translating Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Kalaignar and Karunanithi's letters in English.  So he got the award Bhasha Vibhushan.  Next is Dr.M.A.Susila ammumma for translating the book 'Asadan' in English to Tamil.  She got the award Bhasha Bhushan.

 Next is Vaidehi Herbert aunty for translating the book 'Pathitruppathu' in Tamil to English.  She got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is P.Purushothaman uncle for translating the book 'Oru Vazhippari Kollaiyanin Opputhal Vaakkumoolam' in English to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is.M.Govindarajan appuppa for translating the book 'Anjanai' in Hindi to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is N.Subbramanyan appuppa for translating the book 'Manothidam' in Gujarati to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is N.Manokaran uncle for translating the book 'Indhiya ilakkiya kotpaadukal' in Malayalam to Tamil.  He got the award Bhasha Bhushan.  Next is me for translating the book 'Nothing but water' in Tamil to English.       

29.The poem of my adventure in Vandalur zoo.

                                              In third standard, I wrote a poem about a zoo called Vandalur zoo.  Please read the poem below.

                                                        "I went to Vandalur zoo,
                                                         To see the birds and animals too.
                                                          There were many kinds of birds,
                                                           And I spotted deer all in herds.
                                                          The monkeys did us many tricks,
                                                          Jumping on walls made of bricks.
                                                          Then I saw some striped zebras,     
                                                           And also pythons and cobras"       

28.My recitation competition poem.

                                                  My class teacher announced that on Monday, 12-8-13, a recitation competition will be held.  In that, I'm going to take part and say about plum tree.  Please read the poem below.

                                                      "I'm a plum tree! I'm a plum tree!
                                                       I'm allowed in many gardens!
                                                       If you want to eat my plums,
                                                       Please do eat my plums.
                                                       It is ripe,                                          
                                                       And red in color too.      
                                                       I'm a plum tree,
                                                       I grow day-by-day."
