                                                               2.Arjun
                                                               3.Referee-Suresh

A foot ball match was coming nearer.  Midhun, the striker, headed towards the opponents' goal with the ball on his feet.  Arjun, the defender of the opposing team, tried to stop Midhun from heading the goal.  He pulled Midhun's jersey's collar.  Midhun turned back and pulled Arjun's collar.  Like that both of them beat each other and they started fighting.  Suresh, the referee, came running with his blowing.   He said both of them to get out of the football field an hour.  What both of them got was a torn jersey and a black eye each.

61.The elevator.

Mr. John waited for the elevator to come.  The elevator came soon.  When the door opened, there was a blast of air and a sweet music.  When he was about to enter the elevator, a crowd of people rushed into the elevator.  An old woman pushed John aside and went.  But when the elevator door was about to close, John struggled and somehow managed to get in.  He had his tie very tight.  So, he decided to loosen his tie.  When he reached 10th floor, John rushed outside.  He decided that he shouldn't go in the elevator where many people are in.

60. The hardworking farmer.

It was a very sunny day.  The sun beat down on the farmer tilling his land.  He ploughed his land and sowed maize seeds.  The farmer took care of it and watered it daily.  After some days,  plants grew where he sowed the seeds.  Again, he took care of it and watered it regularly.  After a month, the plants grew as trees.  Many maize grew in it.  The farmer plucked out all the maize and gave it to his wife.  She cooked the maize in a big pot.  She hanged out all the uncooked maize and waited for customers to come and buy the maize she had cooked.

59.The reckless driver.

Mughil was a daredevil on his motorcycle.  He drove it very fast.  He bent his knees in every corner like the riders shown in T.V. till his knee scratches the road.  He wore a safety-helmet and slippers, which were not safe for the feet.  Mughil would not mind if there are any vehicles or walkers infront of him, he would just dash off.  Some times, an accident occurs.  It would kill many walkers or people inside the vehicles.  But, he would somehow manage to escape from the accidents.  Once, there were many pits in the road.  So, when Mughil tried to bend in one corner, his motorcycle fell into a pit.  The vehicle dashed away by its own and Mughil dashed from the motorcycle and bashed into a tree.  That was the end of Mughil.  Today also near his grave, the thing left is a marker which means, a sign for reckless drivers like Mughil.

58. Wet for nothing.

Rahul was a greedy boy.  One day, when he was taking his evening stroll, he saw a ripe mango hanging from a mango tree.  So, he got hold of the branch but could not reach the mango.  So, he moved some more front.  The branch wasn't able to hold on Rahul's weight.  The branch broke and he fell into the river below.  He was able to cope with the river, as the water was not too deep.  When he lifted the mango from the river, he found that the ripe mango was full of worms.  Rahul learnt a lesson,"Do not be greedy."

57. Mysskin uncle's visit.

I said that my 9th birthday ended up.  But that did not really end up.  That night, when I and my father returned back from leaving Nutty to her house, Mysskin uncle phoned my father soon and he came to my house.  We greeted him.  He had Sher Lock Holmes Volume 1 and 2 with him.  He wished me Happy Birthday and gave me the books.  He also gave some hints how to read it easily.  He sat in our sofa and started talking with my father while I brought potato chips for them to eat.  Then he talked with my father for 2 hours and left.  That was the best birthday I've ever celebrated.

55.My birthday party.

Today was my birthday.  Todays date was 5-10-2013.  All my friends came.  First, my friend called Prarthana came.  She phoned and asked me,"Chaitu, I came to Balamuthu krishnan street.  Where's your house", coming in right front of my house.  I shouted to her from the balcony of 1st floor, but she did not hear.  So, I went down and invited her.  Her grand pa wished me happy birthday and we came up.  Prarthana and her grandma came.

She gave me 2 books as a gift- one is Diary of a Wimpy Kid (The third wheel.) and the other one is the magazine of the book TINKLE.  Then her grandma said that she's going to a temple.  She waved goodbye to us and went.

Prarthana and me played skipping for sometime.  It was a very comedy scene.  I skipped continuously for 10 counts.  But what Prarthana did is, she told that she knew to skip very well and I said skip.

When she skipped each time, the skipping rope caught her leg and she couldn't skip.  I asked,"Is this what you said as skipping?"  She laughed.  We went inside and she asked for board games.  I took out the Ludo pad from its cover, took out the coins but couldn't find the dice.

Instead of the dice, what I did is, tore 6 pieces of paper, wrote 1 in one paper, 2 in the second paper and so on, folded it into smaller pieces and started the game.

We kept on putting, but, 6th number did not come.  After playing 5 games, Prarthana took 6th paper and she went on playing.  But I did not get the number 6.

For my good luck, my another friend called Vishwa Priya came.  She came with glitter pens as a gift.  She said,"Don't show it to Teju.  Other wise, she'll cry and grab it."  Teju was my sister.  What Vishwa said was correct.  She'll cry and grab the glitter pens.

Then my mother said me to change my dress.  I changed my dress and my mother combed my hair.  After that, I put my new earrings, wore my favorite bracelet and wore my 'C' chain.  Then every one asked me for T.V.  I put the T.V. and kept our favorite channel Nick.  In that, our favorite programme Ninja Hattori was running.  That time, my father called me for going to call Natassya (Nutty), Director Mysskin uncle's daughter.  I said to Prarthana` that I'm going to call her and said her to say the message to everyone.

On the way, when I was climbing down the stairs, I saw Prarthana's mother & grandma.  We invited them to our house.  Her mother said,"Many More Happy Returns of the Day", and gave me 2 Perk chocolates.  I kept the chocolates in my car and we drove off to call Nutty.

When we reached Nutty's house, on time she came down to the ground floor.  We invited her to our car & we drove off.  On the way, we brought the cake we ordered & bought a knife.

When we reached our house, Prarthana, her mother & her grandma were missing.  I asked my mother ,"Where did they go?"  My mother & Vishwa Priya said,"They went just 1 minute ago."  I thought that she would cry.  Then, we took the cake inside.  Sindhu aunty from ground floor also came with her i-pad.  When she was about to take the photo,  she couldn't find where was the camera.  She gave it to Nutty to find where was the camera.  But, she also couldn't find the camera.  For the good luck, Sindhu aunty had also brought her mobile phone.

They all sang,"Happy Birthday to you", and I cut my cake.  The cake was round in shape and brown in color.  The candle had the number 9 which means, I was 9 years old.  The cake had the message,"Happy 9th Birthday V.Chaitanya."  We helped ourselves to cut and eat the cake.  My sister said that she was also going to cut the cake along with me.  But she couldn't do it because the candle was in the middle & I had to cut in the side of the candle.  My sister thought that the burning candle would hurt her.

After the cake cutting, we compelled my mother to participate in our game.  The game was "Musical Chairs."  To play the game, there was no music.  So, we asked my father to clap instead of music.  When he suddenly stopped, first itself, Vishwa out.  She went out.  The next time, Nutty was out.  She and Vishwa stood in a separate place and cheered for me.  At last, like the cheering, I
won.

The next game was 'Current Shock."  The game was like there should be 5 players.  They should hold the 4 players' hands.  The catcher should say whom to whom, like suppose the catcher is saying Nutty to me, Nutty should press my hand.  When I get the shock, I should say 'RECEIVED'.  If I say received, the catcher was out.  It was a superb game.

The next game was 'Truth or Dare, Double Dare, Burning House or Situation.'  The game was like the catcher should have a remote like thing to rotate.  The front part of the remote is the question and the back part is the answer.  He/She should rotate it.  Suppose the front part of the remote came to Nutty and the back part to me, Nutty should ask me, "Do you want truth, dare, burning house or situation?"  Truth is if Nutty asks me ,"How many people live in India, I should say the correct answer.  If the answer is correct, I score 1 mark.  If I say dare, if she says me to dance, I should dance.  The next task is double dare which means Nutty should give me two actions, like 1. Dance  2. Sing.  I should choose any one of it, and do the action.  If I do it, I get 2 points, for dare and double dare.  The next task is burning house. This task is Nutty asks me what burning house do you like?.  I can say anything, suppose I say, "My Mathematics teacher shouldn't scold me."  The next task is situation.  Situation is, if someone is troubling you, you should find a situation to control them.  It was one of the best games I've ever played.
Then it was time to return Vishwa and Nutty to their houses.  On time, Vishwa's father came.  He had his hair cut a little bit.  Vishwa asked, "Why did you cut your hair?"  Vishwa's father replied, "That;s why I did not come up!"  So, my father and Vishwa's father, Nutty and my mother talked for a long time, while I and Vishwa played running race.  I should run till the car parking and return and give pass to Vishwa.  After a while, Vishwa went with her father while I, my father and Nutty got into the car to return her to her house.

Then, my 9th birthday made an end.

54.Books.

This is a poem on books.  Please read it.

                              "Books, books, books,
which we can read sitting in nooks.
                                Some are wonderful,
                                and some are cheerful.
                                They tell us interesting stories,
                                 and doesn't give us worries.
                                  Please read them,
                                  who are like gem."

53. The fighting women.

Once, there were 2 women.  One woman's name was Devi and the others was Riya.  Both were rich.  They lived in a beautiful city.  One day, when Riya was taking her money to go to a shop, she found that it was stolen.  She was doubtful that only Devi could have stolen it because, she is one and only neighbour for her.  So, without control, Riya angrily asked to Devi,"How dare you steel my money?  Give it now itself or I'll complain you to the Mayor of the city."  Devi did not give anything.  So, Riya took her to the Mayor of the city and said,"Dear Lord, Devi has stolen my money and is not returning it back to me."  That time, Devi said,"My Lord, she is saying lie.  I did not go into her house for 2 days.  Then, how can I steal her money?"  The Mayor said,"I have a solution for your problem.  Now Riya, how much money did you have totally?"  Riya said,"$25,000, my Lord"  "How much did you have, Devi?"  The Mayor asked to Devi.  Devi said,"$30,000, my Lord."  That time Riya screamed,"See, My Lord.  She stole my $5000 and saying lie."  The Mayor said,"Bring both of your money.  Let me see."  So, the two brought their money and handed it over to the Mayor.  The Mayor saw and said,"Riya, your money was not stolen by Devi, but stolen by some one.  See, from yours, only $2000 is stolen and Devi has the correct amount she said.  No fighting for this hereafter."  So, Riya realized her folly and apologized Devi and they never fought of this anymore.

52.History of radio.

Many people were involved in the invention of radio as we now know it.  Several possible methods of wireless communication were considered, including inductive and capacitive induction and transmission through the ground, however the method used for radio today exclusively involves the transmission and reception of electromagnetic waves.

After early speculation on the subject, experimental work on the connection between electricity and magnetism began around 1820 with the work of Hans Christian Orsted and continued with the work Andre-Marie Ampere,  Joseph Henry, and Michael Faraday.  These investigations culminated in the complete theory of electromagnetism developed by James Clerk Maxwell.  The theory described the theoretical basis of the propagation of electromagnetic waves.

After Maxwell's theory was published many people experimented with wireless, some intentionally using Maxwell's theory some not.  It is considered likely that the first intentional transmission of a signal by means of electromagnetic waves was performed by David Edward Hughes around 1880.  Guglielmo Marconi etc. invented radio.

50.My sister.

I wrote a poem on "My sister".  Please read it.

                             "I have a sister,
                              she's a persister.
                              She plays every time,
each time she acts like a mime.
                              She always tolerates me,
she doesn't say she, instead, she says he.
                              I love my sister,
you are also lucky to have a persister."

51.Akshaya, the correspondent.

There was a girl named Akshaya who was studying in 4th standard, Vidyodaya matric. Hr. Sec. Academy.  She always wanted to become the correspondent of the school.  The academic year finished and she passed to 5th standard.  Like that, the academic years passed in a jiffy and she became Maths teacher in the school.  She won't study.  She should study for the exam to become the correspondent.  But she did not study.  At last when the exam date came, she was not even scared for the exam because she knew how to copy simply.  So she entered the exam hall, and started writing the exam.  She copied the girl sitting next to her simply.  At last, when the bell rang, she gave the exam paper and exited the exam hall.  Every one whispered to her that they did not write any single essay.  She was proud that she wrote at least 5 or 6 essays by copying.  After a few days, the result came and they announced that Akshaya got the top score and she became the correspondent of the school.  She became the correspondent of the school by copying.  How lucky she is!

49.History of film.

The history of film began in the late 1880s with the invention of the first movie camera.  Motion pictures were initially exhibited as a carnival novelty and developed to one of the most important tools of communication and entertainment, and mass media in the 20th century and into the 21st century.  Most films before 1930 were silent.  Motion picture films have substantially affected the arts, technology, and politics.

The movie theatre was considered a cheaper, simpler way to provide entertainment to the masses.  Movies became the most popular visual art from of the late Victorian age.  It was simpler because before the cinema people would have to travel long distance to see major dioramas or amusement parks.  With the advent of the cinema this changed.  During the first decade of the cinema's existence, inventors worked to improve the machines for making and showing films.  Eadweard James Muybridge invented cinema.

48.A new table.

Section 1

There was a girl named Thea.  She was studying in 5th standard.  She had an old and broken table.  She asked to her father," Father, I have an old and broken table.  Why don't you buy a new table for me?"  Her father didn't seem to mind.  Thea asked again and again.  But her father didn't say any thing at all.  At last, Thea said,"I won't talk to you until you buy me a new table.", and went away.

Section 2

The next day, also she did not get the new table.  Many months passed.  It has become a year itself.

Section 3

On the month October, she got a new table.  It was not presented by her father, but it was presented by her uncle.  Her uncle said,"Your father only recommended me to buy a new table for you."  Thea went and hugged her father and used the table many years.
