120. A bad friend.

There were once two friends named Kavya and Madhumita.  From 1st std to 4th std,  there friendship was strong that nobody can have.  But, after a girl called Harini interrupted Madhumita, she said to Madhumita, "Madhu, do you know on thing?  Kavya is a very bad girl.  Don't have friendship with her."  Madhumita also agreed.  Harini said this because she was very jealous of the friendship of the two.  So, the next day, Madhumita went to Kavya and said that she won't be Kavya's friend.  Kavya said all right and happily made a team and she had many friends.  So, one day, Madhumita had enough of Harini and went back to Kavya and said that Madhumita was her friend.  They both became friends again but their friendship was not strong like before.

Proverb:   A broken friendship may be soldered but will never be sound.

Meaning:  A friendship, once broken, can be mended but it will never be as                                                                    strong as before.
